CDSC had achieved the key objectives for which it was established. They had automated the clearing and settlement of transactions on the exchange and eliminated systemic risks associated with manual operations. CDSC had also upgraded the clearing, delivery and settlement functions in line with international best practice. CDSC approached BSD to help them redefine their position as the company seeks to entrench its position in the money markets in the competitive Kenyan market.
BSD was involved in developing a new brand direction and promise, creating a look and feel that matched this new direction, aligning internal teams to the new way of thinking and communicating this new change – both internally and externally.
The result is the new look of CDSC with the new brand promise, “Making Progress Possible”, which is in line with their new strategy to increase product offering to drive revenue and profit growth. CDSC will also continue to build robust systems that ensure that they mitigate risks appropriately and that they are at the forefront of good governance practices.
